Roberta graduated from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York - Magna Cum Laude. She started her accounting career as one of the first professional women staff members of the firm Mahoney, Cohen & Co. located on Madison Avenue in New York City.

Roberta met Jim Walker at a firm affiliated staff training seminar in Chicago, Illinois. Soon afterwards, Roberta moved to Marin County and worked for the San Francisco firm of Aaron & Blum.

Roberta has been a licensed CPA since 1979. In addition to providing assistance in the marital dissolution part of the practice, Roberta also prepares tax returns for individuals, businesses and trusts. Roberta provides tax planning and consulting services for the firm's clients.

In her spare time, Roberta enjoys dog-related activities and gardening.
